The most important factor that needs to be considered when buying a projector lamp is the resolution. For office application like the PowerPoint presentations, a XGA (1024×768) resolution in usually sufficient. For multimedia applications, the image aspect should be 16:9 specific to the movie display. In this class of projectors fit those with 854×480 (480p), 1280×720 (720p) and 1920×1080 (1080i) resolutions. The price is proportional with resolution and that is why a full HD compatible projector can reach or even go above the amount of 300.

There is a multitude of TV makes and models available which are capable of higher resolution pictures but are still not capable of Full HD Standards. These will not meet your desired expectations for example from BluRay DVDs. Before buying a TV make yourself aware of the facts to maximize your purchase and therefore your viewing experience.

High definition television is the latest craze in the television industry. The high definition television has been designed to bring mind blowing clarity to the images on the screen. Many have described it as “it’s almost as if you are there!” to those who have never seen them. If you are thinking of buying a TV then it better be a HDTV as it has now come to be called.
